Question: Does this really help you get back with your ex?

You know how when you look up "How to get back with your ex gf/ bf " and when you click on a link, practically all of them say; *Avoid them, or keep a distance *Have MINIMAL conversations with them, make it seem like you don't like talking with them *Look like you're having fun without him/ her Do these techniques really work in order to get your ex back? I'm scared my ex will think I'm better off without him and move on. So my question is, for people who've done this- did it really work? And for those who didn't work out, did your ex seem like you moved on completely and moved on to?

I've found that getting back with your ex is a bad idea. You broke up for a reason and that reason will eventually come back again. Your mind plays tricks on you after a break up, you tend to only remember the good times. But getting back together again will be a quick reminder, because people tend to not change. But no, those mind games don't work. Really time is the best way to get back together again. Once the initial hatred passes, it becomes possible. But when I got back together with my ex, the only thing we had in common was sex. Outside of that, it was awful and it ended again shortly after the reconciliation.
